Transcript
It's often the place we see a lot of our customers or just data teams getting to this mode, focusing on, and it's called, like it's seeking operational clarity. Now what is operational clarity? So opposed to the idea of drowning the business with information, just giving out assets and, you know, building dashboards willy nilly, the goal of a data team should be to create the max amount of clarity for the organization with a minimum amount of information possible. That you're creating what I would say from an engineering background is like the signal to noise ratio is incredibly high. So, you know, we're in a world now where every single piece of software, every single tool that anyone in the business has gives you numbers and metrics and data. We're not we're not lacking data anymore. We're lacking clarity about what's really going on. So data team's purpose is now to clarify and simplify the operating model of a business. They should they're the ones making it clear what the business is doing, how it's performing, how the business fits together, painting the operating model of the business, not just painting the data or owning the numbers. And that's a crucial role, which makes everything else easier. You're making the business feel simple.
