So last month, I sent a survey to about fifty data leaders to understand what's going on in their world. And something which came back from that, which completely shocked me, was that they estimated that about ninety percent of their data team's work wasn't driving any business value. And I was both completely shocked by that and also not really surprised. The amount of time that data teams spend maintaining current reporting, data quality, just maintaining the operational envelope of the business, maintaining the status quo is huge. And only ten percent are they actually working on the problems which are blocking the business's performance. And that's a huge problem for data team impact and for ROI, and that's basically what I think is the mission of count is how do we have a BI tool that can minimize the overhead of maintaining the data stack and maintaining reporting and allows the data team to be as efficient as possible with driving the maximum amount of impact to the business by making the business really clear what's going on. Its operational clarity is high. It's understanding its growth model, problem solving on the biggest challenges, and helping the business make decisions quickly. That is what a BI tool should be about, and that's what we're building count to be.
